Our Process

We only use “source removal” techniques for cleaning air duct systems. Source removal is the term used for the process of removing contaminants (dust and mold) from your home. Here is our process:

Inspection

We begin by inspecting the current state of your air duct system. Typically, we check all the access points, assess their condition by looking inside, and decide the best and safest way to clean your air ducts. *Please note that we take COVID precautions seriously and wear a medical-grade mask during our work to help ensure your safety

Prep Work

Afterward, we arrange the vacuum collection unit by placing a plastic film or heavy-duty magnet on supply and return openings. This negative air pressure makes sure dust, dirt, and other debris does not spread around the house.

Cleaning

We then use our HEPA vacuum to do the initial cleaning of any heavy sediment in the vent openings (crayons, pet food, toys, etc).

After this, we start agitating the walls of the ductwork, taking out the pollutants like dust, dirt, pollen, bacteria and other debris stuck on the walls of the duct. We clean all registers, grilles, diffusers, and furnace fans. Every air duct cleaning will include a complimentary dryer vent cleaning ($149/value).

Inspection

Once all the cleaning is done, we conduct a final inspection to ensure nothing was missed and the air ducts are thoroughly cleaned.

Cleanup

We remove all of our materials and vacuum the areas where we were working around your home.

Cleaning is not a one-time occurrence. We discuss ongoing maintenance options that allow you to keep your air ducts in tip-top shape all year round.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

The same way you clean out the lint trap in your dryer is the same way you should also clean out your dryer vent. Why? Because it helps your dryer work more efficiently and removes a potential fire hazard from occurring. Every air duct cleaning will include a complimentary dryer vent cleaning. However, if you only want to have this service done in your home, we are happy to accommodate that. Our price is $149/plus-tax.
